I am intrigued by the intersection of virtual and physical sculpture, as well as the juncture of animation and captured video. My work explores a disquieting sense of apocalyptic paranoia, tempered by whimsy and irony—shaped by a deep interest in politics, the environment, and history. My practice continuously evolves, expanding into new forms and methodologies, always seeking new ways to challenge perception and materiality.
The computer has become a natural vehicle for my work—not just as a tool for the design and dimensioning of sculpture, but also as a means of creating virtual sculptures, photography, and digital video. My intention is for the computer’s output to create and manipulate photorealistic images, videos, and objects that are both convincing and unsettling, blurring the line between the real and the imagined.
