These sculptures are made from 3d scans/3D PLA prints covered with paint and gold leaf. Made in 2017-2020. The first of this series is Martha project, a scan and print of a New Zealand Gold Mine. The other four are scans of bullet and shrapnel holes in Paris, Barcelona and Berlin form world war 1 World war 2 and the Spanish Civil War. (The holes in the wall of Plaça Sant Felip Neri was attributed to bullet holes from Spanish anarchists shooting priests. they were in fact shrapnel marks from Italian bombs, who as Franco's nationalists allies dropped bombs on an orphan refuge in the Church of Saint Philip Neri killing over 40 people, mostly children.

"La Hoja De Oro" is the Spanish translation for gold leaf. Gold leaf commonly covers the interiors of Spanish churches.
